Pučišća
is a settlement and a port at the northern shore of mid-Dalmatian
island of Brač, connected with Makarska and Split by daily ferry lines.
The town is known for its stonecutting tradition originating from the
antique period, when Brač used to be a source of excellent stone used
for special constructions. There is also a world-famous Stonemason's
School in the town where young apprentices are taught how to make real
pieces of art. There are four smaller stone and sand beaches in the town and one
slightly larger sandy beach with a refreshments kiosk.
You can get a coffee in one of the numerous cafés along the shore and
meals in a pizzeria or in one of the two restaurants.
In the evening, you can enjoy live Dalmatian music and various
performances. |

Our
apartments are located in a beautiful old part of the town in a
completely renovated old Dalmatian stone house. The house has
beautiful views of the old town (Photo right).
The house is accessible by car; there is a parking space under the
house. |
